Stealth mode ...

... After realizing that I'd not posted anything on this blog since September a thought popped into my head. If a blogger posts a comment and there's no one responding, is all this blogging worth the effort? (In other words, "Is the juice worth the squeeze?")

... Have thought about competing in a BFL challenge in stealth mode. In fact I'm gearing up for an official entry in 2007 to coincide w/ my next birthday. So, so many times I've started a 12-week challenge w/ the very best intentions.

"This time I'm going to win it all."
"This time I'll not miss a single workout."
"Someday I'll be recognized as a champion."

... Reminds me about the essay on procrastination by Denis Waitley:

Timing is Everything

Many a person lives on Someday Isle. They're convinced that "someday I'll do that" or "someday I'll go there."

The science of physics recognizes two kinds of inertia - both of which can be related to procrastination. The first law states, "Standing objects tend to remain stationary." The second law is the inverse: "Moving objects tend to stay in motion."

Procrastination is stationary inertia. We aren't moving, and we therefore don't move!
Procrastination overcome, however, moves us into the arena where the law of motion takes over. We frequently find that once we've started a project or process, we stay with it until completion.

The first step toward success will be the biggest one that most people take.

... I think it's time to leave 'someday isle.'

... There no need to for fanfare. Stealth allows us all to launch and never be seen until we want to be.
